(WASHINGTON, DC) – Saudi Minister of National Guard Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz concluded his official to Washington, D.C. today. The three-day visit focused on the bilateral relationship and international issues of common interest.
Prince Miteb met with several senior U.S. officials throughout his visit, including President Barack Obama, Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel, Director of Central Intelligence John Brennan, Chief of National Guard Bureau General Frank J. Grass and members of Congress. Prince Miteb also visited with Saudi students studying abroad in the U.S.
Saudi Ambassador to the United States Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir hosted a dinner ceremony last night in honor of Prince Miteb. The ceremony was attended by a number of U.S. officials and Saudi diplomats.
The National Guard delegation included Chief of Military Apparatus, General Mohammad bin Khalid Al-Nahidh and Chief of the Ministry's Aviation Authority, Air Vice-Marshall Rashid bin Abdullah Al-Zahrani.
