Saudi Ministry of Defense Daily Briefing: Operation Decisive Storm
The following is a summary of the daily press briefing held today in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on the developments of Operation Decisive Storm. The briefing was conducted by Brig. Gen. Ahmed bin Hasan Asiri, advisor in the Office of the Minister of Defense.

The coalition is providing support to a number of Yemeni tribes who are fighting in support of the legitimate government. Brig. Gen Asiri praised the efforts of the Shabwa, Abyan, Lahj and Yafe tribes, who declared their allegiance to the legitimate president of Yemen.

Three Red Cross relief planes have arrived in Yemen and humanitarian work is more organized. The coalition is committed to facilitate the distribution of the relief supplies.

Air operations have decreased and are focusing on Houthi assembly points inside Yemeni army camps, as well as the movements of Houthi militia.

The coalition is supporting the people’s committees in Aden and northern Yemen to prevent Houthi militia from looting military equipment and occupying military bases.

The coalition targeted the 310th Brigade in Sana’a and the 22nd Brigade in Taiz. They also targeted and mountain caves used by Houthi militias for refuge and weapons storage. The coalition also targeted military concentrations in the south of Hodeida and sites inside the Saada Airport.

The coalition is targeting fuel storage facilities to prevent the Houthi militias from using them.

The Houthi militias are employing an attack and retreat strategy in Aden, but resistance elements on the ground have foiled their plans. The coalition is currently preventing Houthi militias isolated in Aden from resupplied.

Houthi militias is attempting to move fighting to the Saudi border. Yesterday, Houthi militia targeted a border post in Najran, killing three and wounding two soldiers. The coalition responded with artillery fire and Apache attack helicopters.

The coalition is taking every precaution to ensure safety and security on the border.

Coalition naval forces have imposed a blockade on Yemen's ports at the request of the legitimate government of Yemen to prevent the Houthi militias from rearming.

Reports that Houthi militias have used chemical weapons have not been confirmed. If used, the coalition will respond appropriately.
