Saudi Ministry of Defense Daily Briefing: Operation Decisive Storm
The following is a summary of the daily press briefing held today in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on the developments of Operation Decisive Storm. The briefing was conducted by Brig. Gen. Ahmed bin Hasan Asiri, advisor in the Office of the Minister of Defense.

A Red Cross relief ship arrived today at the port of Aden. The coalition coordinated with the people's committees in Aden to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid to hospitals. Houthi militia and their supporters made this effort difficult by attempting to sabotage the operation.

The coalition has assured the safety of the crew of the Red Cross relief ship and works to ensure the ship doesn't fall under the control of Houthi militia.

Foreign nationals in Yemen continue to be evacuated. Specifically, Indian citizens have been evacuated by aircraft. The coalition continues to coordinate with all countries willing to participate in the evacuation process.

Coalition forces have communicated with the legitimate Yemeni government, its leaders and armed members of pro-legitimacy forces on the ground. Names of these leaders and military commanders will not be released for their own safety.

The coalition confirmed that large numbers of Houthi militias and rebel army units have surrendered. The coalition asked the people's committees in Aden to maintain the security and safety of those who surrendered in accordance with the law.

Coalition forces continue to target specific Houthi missile sites and air defense positions, as well as isolated groups of Houthi militia still in Aden.

Brig. Gen. Asiri denied reports that Iran has requested to evacuate its citizens from Yemen, adding that most Iranians in Yemen are military trainers working with the Houthis and will meet the same fate.

Asked whether there is a split within the Houthi militias, Brig. Gen. Asiri said this is natural for militias but the coalition forces is dealing with them as one group, regardless of their differences.
