Saudi Ministry of Defense Daily Briefing: Operation Decisive Storm
The following is a summary of the daily press briefing held today in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on the developments of Operation Decisive Storm. The briefing was conducted by Brig. Gen. Ahmed bin Hasan Asiri, advisor in the Office of the Minister of Defense.

Operation Decisive Storm launched more than 106 airstrikes against the militias and their Yemeni army loyalists in the past 24 hours.

The situation in Aden is improving. Operations are confined to the Mualla and Khormaksar areas. The people's committees are searching for weapons sites inside houses.

Attack and retreat operations carried out by Houthi militia in Aden indicate that their supply lines and logistics are very weak.

Houthi militia still possess large quantities of ammunition, which have been discovered by the people's committee during daily searches of private homes., an indication that the militia have turned homes into weapons warehouses.

The most important operations carried out on Saturday targeted a military weapons warehouse near Sana’a.

Coalition forces have prevented Houthi militias from moving towards the Saudi border in preparation of cross-border attacks.

Coalition forces targeted a camp, which contained a large number of Houthi vehicles and other equipment in addition to a cave used to store ammunition in northern Yemen and around the Saada region.

Saudi Land Forces for the first time in Operation Decisive Storm shelled militia sites used to target Almanarah border post.

The coalition carried out 2,300 sorties since the operations against the Houthis started.

Coalition forces neutralized all Houthis’ command, control and communications centers.

The coalition has eliminated the ballistic missile’s threat posed from Yemen.

The coalition has destroyed more than 80 percent of Houthi ammunition.

The next phase of air operations will focus on three main objectives: prevention of the Houthi militias' operational movements on the ground; protection of civilians; and humanitarian action and alleviation of the suffering of Yemeni citizens through providing support and facilitating the evacuation and humanitarian relief operations procedures.

Relief work must be carried out through the command of the coalition and no parties within Yemen are entitled to give permission to any aircraft to land at any Yemeni airport.
