(WASHINGTON, DC) - On Monday, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz met with Egyptian interim president Adly Mansour in Jeddah.

King Abduallah confirmed Saudi Arabia’s backing of Egypt and its people. “We will support Egypt against terrorism, sedition, and those who try to undermine its security,” said King Abdullah during the meeting.

Mr. Mansour thanked the Saudi government and people for supporting Egypt, and helping overcome the recent Egyptian economic crisis.

During the meeting, the two leaders also discussed bilateral cooperation, and reviewed regional and international issues.
