The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s "Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Campaign to Provide Humanitarian Relief to the Palestinian People in Gaza" has raised more than $32 million in donations to provide humanitarian relief to the people of Gaza.

Following the initial 11-hour fundraising period, the Campaign continues to receive donations from citizens and residents throughout the Kingdom.

The Campaign is part of a broader humanitarian effort by the Kingdom to provide humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian people during this difficult time.

King Abdullah has ordered the delivery of medical aid to civilian victims, as well as the transportation of the wounded to Saudi Arabia for treatment at Saudi hospitals, a number of whom have already arrived in the Kingdom.

Humanitarian aid from the Kingdom started arriving on December 30. Saudi Medevac planes are airlifting injured Palestinians to Saudi hospitals, including King Faisal Specialist Hospital, where King Abdullah has personally paid a visit to wounded Palestinian youth.

"The Saudi people are committed to help alleviate the tragic humanitarian situation in Gaza and will continue to show their support," said Saudi Ambassador to the United States Adel A. Al-Jubeir.
