(WASHINGTON, DC) – The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to the United States, Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir will be speaking at the US-Saudi Business Opportunities Forum, which is being held in Chicago from April 27-29. The event, the first of its kind, has been organized by the Committee for International Trade (Saudi Chambers of Commerce) and the U.S. Saudi Arabian Business Council in partnership with U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the U.S. Department of Commerce.
“The Saudi-U.S. relationship has grown and deepened over the past seven decades,” said Saudi Ambassador Al-Jubeir. “This conference will highlight the opportunities available to citizens of both countries as a result of the strong economic ties between them.”
A number of senior Saudi officials are expected at the event, including His Excellency Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf, Minister of Finance; His Excellency Ali Al-Naimi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources; and His Excellency Abdullah Alireza, Minister of Commerce and Industry.
In addition, several senior government officials and corporate executive from both countries will participate in the conference.
