(WASHINGTON, DC) -  Today Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz sent a cable of congratulations to Mohammed Fuad Masum for assuming the presidency of the Republic in Iraq, to Haider Al-Abadi on the his appointment as Iraq's Prime Minister, and to Dr. Salim Al-Jubouri on being selected as president of Iraq's House of Representatives.

King Abdullah congratulated President Masum on appointing Mr. Al-Abadi as a prime minister, wishing Iraq steady security, stability and prosperity.

The cable to Mr. Al-Abadi wished him success in restoring cohesion among the Iraqi people, preserving the unity of Iraq and achieving security and stability in Iraq. The King wished Dr. Al-Jubouri success in serving the Iraqi people and achieving security and stability in Iraq.
