(WASHINGTON, DC) – The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, will host the Inauguration Ceremony of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) on Saudi Arabia’s National Day, September 23, 2009.
The ceremony will feature speeches by King Abdullah, Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, His Excellency Ali Ibrahim Al-Naimi, and KAUST President, Professor Choon Fong Shih.
KAUST is an international, graduate-level research university. The state-of-the-art 9,000 acre campus is located along the coast of the Red Sea in Thuwal, Saudi Arabia.
