(WASHINGTON, DC) - The coalition’s command for Operation Renewal of Hope announced today that Houthi militias continue to violate the humanitarian ceasefire in Yemen for the second day.
Along the Saudi Yemeni border, coalition command said Houthi militias shelled Saudi Land Forces stationed near the village of Abu Arradeef near Border Mark 58 in Najran Sector; shelled the Al-Manarah Observation Post, the village of Abu Arradeef and Elab border post in Najran Sector.
Inside Yemen, Houthi militias continued to move their military hardware and carryout military operations against civilians in Aden, Abeen, Luhaj, Shabwa, Taiz and Maareb provinces.
The coalition command reaffirmed its commitment to the ceasefire and facilitating humanitarian relief in Yemen. However, the command warned the Houthi militias and their supporters that the ceasefire would not last if they continue to violate it.
