(WASHINGTON, DC) – The Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia continues to correct the issue regarding the nationality of ‎Adnan G. El Shukrijumah, who was reportedly killed this weekend by the Pakistani Army. Mr. ‎El Shukrijumah was wanted by U.S. authorities on terrorism charges.

In March 2003, the Ministry of Interior announced that Mr. El Shukrijumah was not, and never ‎has been, a Saudi citizen, as has been incorrectly reported.‎

His father, Gulshai El Shukrijumah, worked in Saudi Arabia for 27 years as an expatriate ‎employee until 1986 when the family moved to the United States. He also did not have Saudi ‎citizenship.
