The Ministry of Interior today announced the arrest of Haitham Ibrahim Hassan Al-Mukhtar who is wanted for the killing of two security officers in Sihat on Nov. 18, 2015 and shooting at a security patrol in Qatif, on Nov. 9, 2015, which resulted in the wounding of a security officer and two passers-by wounded.

Al-Mukhtar is also accused of being part of a terrorist cell in Qatif linked to wanted terrorist, manufacturing of petrol bombs and throwing petrol bombs at a government building on Jan. 9, 2016 in an attempt to set it on fire.

Al-Mukhtar was arrested yesterday following intensive manhunt.
