As an extension of the humanitarian initiatives adopted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia towards the people of Yemen, and on the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, separation surgery on Yemeni conjoined twins will be performed Friday. The surgery is expected to last up to 12 hours with the participation of nearly 30 specialists from the medical departments of anesthesia, surgery of children, urology, orthopedic, plastic, nursing, technicians and paramedics, adviser at the Royal Court, General Supervisor of King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid and head of the medical and surgical team, Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabiah said.
