Upon the directives of HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, the Deputy Minister of Defense HRH Prince Khalid bin Salman met with US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan in Washington DC yesterday.
During the meeting, the two reviewed the enduring and historical Saudi-US partnership, and discussed prospects for joint cooperation and coordination between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America, as well as ways to solidify and deepen relations between the two countries.
The meeting was attended by HRH Princess Reema Bandar Al Saud the Saudi Ambassador to the United States, Mohammed Al Jaber the Saudi Ambassador to Yemen, Major General Eng. Talal bin Abdullah Al-Otaibi the military advisor to the Minister of Defense, and Hisham bin Abdulaziz bin Saif the director of the office of HRH the Deputy Defense Minister.
From the US side the meeting was attended by Mr. Brett McGurk, National Security Council Coordinator for the Middle East and North Africa.
His Highness the Deputy Minister of Defense and his accompanying delegation arrived in the United States of America on an official visit, during which he will meet a number of American officials to discuss bilateral relations and issues of common interest at the regional and international levels.
