The Ministry of Interior today identified the dead suicide bombers in the attack on the Ridha Mosque in Mahasin neighborhood in Ahsa, as 22 year old Saudi national Abdulrahman bin Abdullah bin Suleiman Al-Tuwaijri. Al-Tuwaijri had previously been arrested for participation in demonstrations demanding the release of suspected terrorist detainees.  The second would be suicide bomber was identified as Egyptian national Talha Hisham Mohammed Abdo.  Abod was issued a Saudi visitor visa along with his family to visit his father, Hesham Mohammed Abdou Abdelhalim, Egyptian national.

The terrorist act resulted in the death of 4 people and the injury of 36 others, including 3 security men. 

The Ministry of Interior said that the security authorities will continue their efforts to track down and prosecute anyone connected with this criminal act.
