The Muslim World League's Secretary General, His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Al-Aissa, visited the largest European Cathedral in Paris, Notre' Dame. He was warmly received by the clergy in the Notre Dame Church. Both parties expressed their wishes to promote communication that highlights their respective religions' shared values to cultivate bi-lateral understanding. This is not the first time the MWL's Secretary General exchanges dialogue with the Catholic Church. In late September of this, HE Dr. Al- Aissa, accompanied by a delegation, participated in talks with Pope Francis and other cardinal members in which ideals around promoting religious balance, non-violence, and freedom in religious discourse were exchanged. Both steps indicating a more accepting view of other religions among Muslim leaders.
