The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia expresses its firm rejection and condemnation of the declaration issued by the United States Administration to recognize Israeli sovereignty over the occupied Syrian Golan Heights. 
In accordance with relevant international resolutions, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia affirmed its firm and principled position on the Golan Heights, which is occupied Syrian Arab land. 
The Declaration by the United States Administration is a violation of the Charter of the United Nations, principles of the international law, and relevant international resolutions. Specifically, United Nations Security Council resolutions No. 242 (1967) and No. 497 (1981). 
The declaration will have a negative impact on the peace process in the Middle East, as well as further risk the security and stability of the region.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia calls on all parties to respect international resolutions and the United Nations Charter.
