Saudi Arabia condemned the attacks waged by Basher Al-Assad's forces on the city of Aleppo, which led to the destruction of a hospital, run by an international organization, that killed dozens, including children and doctors.
Saudi Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir denounced the attack today on Twitter, saying that “the brutal bombing on Aleppo by Al-Assad forces that killed many innocents is unacceptable by human ethics, international laws and principles.”
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs called the raid a terrorist act and said that it ignores the cessation of hostilities agreement and seeks to pre-empt international efforts to reach a political solution to the crisis and to prevent delivery of humanitarian aid to the Syrian people. “This criminal act underlines the Assad regime’s lack of seriousness in responding to the demands of the international community and proves that Al-Assad is not committed to resolve the Syrian crisis peacefully, in accordance with the principles of the Geneva 1 and UN Security Council Resolution 2254,” the statement said.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has called on the international community and allies of Bashar Al-Assad who have committed to the cessation of hostilities to take necessary measures to stop these attacks and all crimes committed by Bashar Al-Assad and his supporters against the Syrian people.
