The military exercise Eager Lion 2015 began today in Jordan with the participation of ten thousand soldiers from 18 Arab and NATO members, including Saudi Arabia.
The military exercise aims to promote cooperation and joint action among the participating countries, build their capacity, enhance their readiness and enable them to manage various crises and deal with them.
In addition to Saudi Arabia, other participants include Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Britain, France, Italy, Pakistan, the United States, Canada, Belgium, Poland, Australia, and the command of NATO are participating in the exercise which lasts until May 19.
