The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia today strongly condemned the shooting and hostage-taking at a restaurant in the diplomatic neighborhood in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom's condolences to the families of the victims and to the Government of the Republic of Bangladesh and its people, with wishes of a speedy recovery for the injured.
