The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz strongly condemned the terror attacks in Ankara that claimed the lives of Russia’s ambassador to Turkey Andrey G. Karlov and Berlin that resulted in the death of 12 people in Germany.
In separate cables sent to Russian President Vladimir Putin and German President Joachim Gauck, King Salman offered condolences to the families of the victims as well as to the peoples and governments of Russia and Germany.
King Salman reiterated Saudi Arabia’s firm position in rejecting terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, and emphasized the need for stepping up global efforts to stamp it out.
Crown Prince Mohammad bin Naif, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, and Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Second Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister, sent simular cables condolences and condemnations of terrorist attacks.
