The Ministry of Foreign Affairs this evening the attack carried out by a man who drove a truck into crowds celebrating Franc’s National Day in Nice.

In a statement, the ministry expressed Saudi Arabia's strong condemnation of the heinous terrorist act, which resulted in death of over 70 people and injuring dozens.  The Foreign Ministry reaffirmed the Kingdom's solidarity with France and cooperation to confront all forms of terrorism.

The ministry offered its condolences to the families of the victims, the government and people of France, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
