The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia expressed deep concern over the humanitarian experienced by Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar and their recent plight of what is called the crisis of refugee boats in the South East Asia in this regard. The Kingdom also expressed its appreciation to all states that have contributed to the rescue of Rohingya refugees, particularly Malaysia and Indonesia.
Address the U.N. Human Rights Council on the circumstances of Rohingya Muslims, Saudi delegate Khalid Manzalawi stressed the Kingdom's condemnation of the continuing acts of violence against the minority Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar and Nepranytau’s refusal recognized them as citizens under the pretext that they are illegal immigrants from Bangladesh.
