The Royal Court announced today that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz has ordered the formation of a relief campaign to help the suffering Syrian brethren, especially those evacuated from Aleppo and other areas, who have been displaced and because of the difficult situation they face. The campaign will begin Tuesday, December 27, 2016.
King Salman dedicated SR 100 million ($27 million) for the campaign. The campaign will be coordinated by the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works which will set up collection centers throughout the Kingdom to collect monetary and in-kind donations.
King Salan kicked off the campaign by donating SR 20 million, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif donated SR 10 million, and Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman donated SR 8 million.
