The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz chaired the Cabinet's weekly session at Al-Sallam Palace in Jeddah on this afternoon.
The King welcomed the upcoming participation of US President Donald J. Trump, and leaders of Arab and Islamic countries in the 17th consultative meeting of leaders of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), the Gulf-US Summit, and the Arab-Islamic-US Summit, being hosted in Riyadh this weekend.
King Salman expressed his trust May 20 Saudi-US Summit will contribute to strengthening and enhancing strategic relations and global security between the two countries. He also said he is looking forward to the Gulf-US Summit, and the Arab-Islamic-US Summit which he said will enhance greater cooperation with the US.consultative meeting to be held on May 21 at will contribute to consolidating the Gulf solidarity for enhancing security, stability and peace in the region. The King also stressed that the Arab-Islamic-US Summit to be held on the same day will establish a new partnership in confronting extremism and terrorism, disseminating the values of tolerance and coexistence, and enhancing security, stability and cooperation.
The Cabinet condemned the terror attack on a development project in Al-Masurha District in Qatif Province.
