The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques chaired the Cabinet's session at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh this afternoon.
King Salman started the Cabinet session with a briefing of his talks with President Ismail Omar Guelleh of Djibouti, French Prime Minister Manuel Valls, German Foreign Minister Dr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the leader of Progressive Socialist Party of Lebanon Walid Junblat, and Director General of World Trade Organization Robert Azevedo.
The Cabinet congratulated all Muslims on new Hijri year 1437 and called for the end of all conflicts in the Islamic Nation.
The Cabinet expressed its condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims of Friday’s ISIS-inspired terrorist attack in Saihat that killed five and wounded twelve.
The Cabinet was the briefed on the latest regional and international developments and reaffirmed the Kingdom's condemnation of the Israeli violence against the Palestinian people carried out by the government and settlers, as well as the continuing Israeli violations of Al-Aqsa Mosque. The Cabinet appealed to the international community and the UN Security Council to bring an end to the Israeli crimes.
