The Ministry of Interior has announced a travel ban against citizens to countries affected by Ebola. General Director of Public Relations and Media at the Ministry of Interior Maj. Gen. Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Marul said that a High Directive has been issued banning Saudi citizens from traveling to Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia. Emergency travel to these countries will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in coordination with the Ministry of Health. Those permitted to travel, will be subject to preventive measures upon their arrival from the affected countries.
