Houthi Leader Threatens Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with Attacks
April 10, 2018
In a speech full of vitriolic rhetoric given with disregard for peace, Saleh Ali Al-Sammad, a leader in the Houthi militia, has declared the Houthis’ intent of continuing attacks against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during a political council meeting in Yemen yesterday. His statements threatened the Kingdom, calling for continuous daily ballistic strikes against Saudi Arabia, claiming that the Kingdom’s defenses will be threatened, unable to defend itself from repeated attacks. These reprehensible declarations by the Houthi militias reflect the reality on the ground, and what the Kingdom continues to encounter on a regular basis. While the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continues to seek a peaceful political resolution to the conflict, the Iranian-backed Houthi militia continue to be destructive and cause chaos.
