The Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Washington, D.C., announces the arrival of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, the Kingdom’s Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, to the United States of America. On behalf of His Royal Highness Ambassador Prince Khalid bin Salman Al Saud, the Kingdom’s Ambassador to the United States, the embassy is delighted to welcome HRH the Crown Prince.
HRH will meet with President Trump at the White House on March 20. During the remainder of his D.C. stay, HRH will also meet with several key Congressional members from both parties and other influential policy makers.
The Crown Prince’s visit aims to cement the existing close relationship between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America. This visit is also a continuum of the historic May 2017 Riyadh Summits where both countries forged additional alliances. To expand these efforts, HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will highlight investment opportunities within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and also vet viable investment prospects within the United States that are ripe for reinforcing bi-lateral business ties. The Crown Prince’s trip also will lay the groundwork for the visit later this year of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the United States.
HRH the Crown Prince is keen to engage with the American audiences in Washington DC, Boston, New York, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Houston. HRH the Crown Prince will visit Boston on March 24 to meet with important educational stakeholders. HRH the Crown Prince will later arrive in New York City on March 26 for continuing discussions with American business leaders as well as a meeting with United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres in New York, he will also participate in a Saudi-US CEO Forum that will bring together top leaders from both countries to discuss the many exciting developments in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Afterward, the Crown Prince will head to the West Coast on March 30 to meet with philanthropic organizations, technology and defense companies, and entertainment conglomerates, including meetings at Google, Apple and Lockheed Martin.
HRH the Crown Prince will then stop in Houston on April 7 where he will visit Aramco’s Research Center and Motiva’s Port Arthur facility. From Houston, HRH the Crown Prince will return to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
