Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani has strongly condemned the explosion that targeted a police bus in Bahrain, injuring a number of policemen on Sunday.

Dr. Al-Zayani described the incident as a cowardly criminal act that contradict with all human principles, expressing confidence that the Bahraini security is capable of finding the perpetrators of this crime and bringing them to justice.  He reiterated GCC’s solidarity with Bahrain in all of the security measures taken to maintain the safety and security of its citizens, wishing the injured speedy recovery.
