Four royal orders were issued today.:

• The first order cut ministers' salaries by 20% and members of the Consultative Council (Majlis Al-Shura) by 15%.‎
• The second royal order cuts the annual housing and car allowances for members of the Consultative Council by 15%.
• The third royal order exempts active duty military, ‎intelligence and security personnel stationed along the ‎southern borders or abroad from pay and benefit cuts.‎
• The fourth royal order suspends car allowances to ‎senior government officials until the end of the ‎fiscal year and requires ministers to pay their ‎own land and mobile phone bills effective Oct. 2, ‎‎2016.
