Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir held bilateral talks with French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault on the sidelines of the Paris ministerial meeting in support for the Syrian opposition.

Minister Al-Jubeir also met separately with German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier and EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Frederica Mgrena.

The meetings discussed bilateral relations between said countries and solutions in solving the Syrian crisis in accordance with the principles of the UN Security Council Resolution 2245 and Geneva 1.

Following the ministerial meeting, Al-Jubeir made remarks to the media stressing the Kingdom's commitment to supporting the Syrian opposition and the Syrian people so that they attain their legitimate rights in building a stable state that does not include Bashar al-Assad.
