Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir said today  that the “Syrian regime is the one who refused to enter into any serious negotiations, continued the killing of his own people and brought terrorist organizations and sectarian militias into Syria, including the Iranian Revolutionary Guard."

Addressed the extraordinary session of the Foreign Ministers of the Arab League in Cairo, Minister Al-Jubeir called on putting pressure on the Syrian regime to reach a political solution.

The Arab foreign ministers said in their emergency meeting on Syria that the continuation of the tragic situation in Syria poses a threat to Arab national security and global stability, stressing the need to impose the necessary pressure on the Syrian regime to respond to the will of the international community represented in the UN resolutions.
