The Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Washington opened its doors to the public May 2, offering cultural and educational activities as part of the second annual Passport DC cultural tourism program.
The event featured a slideshow presentation about the Kingdom, Arabic coffee and date tasting inside a traditional Arabian tent, Henna art, Saudi music and folk dancing and a variety of children’s activities. Visitors had the opportunity to learn about the history, development and culture of Saudi Arabia, while taking in displays, exhibitions and live performances. Over 1,000 people attended the embassy’s events.
