During His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s stop in Houston, His Royal Highness met with Houston Mayor, The Honorable Mayor Sylvester Turner and Houston Habitat for Humanity Executive Director, Ms. Allison Hay, both of whom welcomed the Crown Prince and expressed appreciation for the efforts put forth by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s citizens in Houston during the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. His Royal Highness the Crown Prince visited several homes affected by the Hurricane, taking-in the site of a home that had been rebuilt with the aid of Saudi volunteers. One of the people affected by the Hurricane expressed their gratitude for the Saudi volunteers who stood by them in light of the tragedy caused by Hurricane Harvey. This visit was followed by His Royal Highness meeting with a number of Saudi volunteers, all of whom he thanked for participating in these humanitarian efforts; presenting an image of Saudi Youth that is inspiring, as well as, honorable; and expressing their sympathies for their neighbors that were harmed by the hurricane.
