Saudi Ambassador to the United States Adel A. Al-Jubeir today met with members of the Saudi delegation and a participant in the 2010 International Sustainable World Project Olympiad, known as I-SWEEEP. 

Saudi Arabia was represented by four participants, all of whom were honored.

Albader Humid received an Honorable Mention Awards for his safe iron project; Abdulrahman Alfozan and Abdulmohsen Alblushi received silver medals for their Smart Fire Detector and Solar Panel Launch Support & Release Mechanism for the Castor Space System, respectively; and Abdulaziz Alghunaim received a bronze medal for his “Action Shields - A Helpful Solution to Save Lives in Building Emergencies.

I-SWEEEP 2010 brought together over 1,000 young scientists from 70 countries to Houston, Texas April 14-19.
