The Command of the Coalition Forces Supporting the ‎Legitimate Government of Yemen announced today that they ‎had intercepted a ballistic missile launched by Iranian-backed ‎Houthi militias at 8:20pm local time. The missile was launched ‎toward Khamis Mushayt.  Saudi air defense was able to ‎intercept the missile and destroy without causing any damage ‎on the ground.‎

The coalition air forces launched a strike on the missile's ‎launch site.‎
