The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz chaired the Cabinet's session at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh this afternoon.
At the outset of the session, King Salman briefed the Cabinet on the outcomes of his talks with Nigerian President Mohammed Bukhari and the Crown Prince of Denmark Prince Frederik Henrik Andre; the message sent to Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah; and the telephone call received from Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Dr. Al-Rabeeah said that Taiz had been the most difficult city for the international community to reach, but through airdrops and working with NGOs, the center was able to break the siege.

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRELIEF) dispatched the third batch of relief supplies to Tajikistan for earthquake hit and flooded areas. The consignment contained 300 food baskets and 18 tons of coal.

Saudi Arabia today strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Mogadishu, Somali and the Afghan capital Kabul and city Asabadad.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom’s condemnation against the terrorist attacks that targeted the Somali capital Mogadishu, the Afghan capital Kabul and the city of Asadabad, in eastern Afghanistan.
The ministry reaffirmed the Kingdom's solidarity in the fight against terrorism and offered its condolences to the victims' families and wished the injured speedy recovery.
(WASHINGTON, DC) – The Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has imposed sanctions on three individuals and four organizations over their ties to Hezbollah.
Those sanctioned are Fadi Hussein Serhan; Adel Mohammed Sheri; Ali Hussein Zeaiter; Vatech SARL; Le-Hua Electronics Field Co. Limited; Aero Skyone Co. Limited; and Labico SAL Offshore.
The Saud Air Force fighter jets began arriving at the Incirlik Air Base on Friday. This deployment came in line with the direction of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to expand its air operations against the sites of the terrorist organization Daesh (ISIS) in Syria and as part of the international coalition operations against Daesh.

The Saudi National Campaign to Support Brothers dispatched 21 trucks carrying over 95,000 emergency winter items for displaced people in Syria. The convoy crossed into Syria from Jordan. The winter aid consists of more than 60,000 blankets and more than 35,000 jackets for displaced Syrians in emergency camps.
The King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works signed a contract today to build 300 housing units for displaced Yemenis in Djibouti. The units are expected meet the basic needs of over 2,000 displaced Yemenis.

Director General of Public Relations and Media at the Ministry of Interior Major General Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Marol said that some television channels use methods to raise funds, including the call for collecting donations for charitable projects, in addition to introducing programs with the aim of transferring money.
Dr. Al-Marol also said that promoting, funding and participating in such programs violate Saudi law.

(WASHINGTON, DC) – Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defense today announced it is prepared to deploy ground forces in Syria to fight Daesh (ISIS), if the U.S.-led international coalition also deploys ground forces.
Brig. Gen. Ahmed Asseri, advisor in the Office of the Minister of Defense, made this announcement during an interview with Al Arabiya. Since 2014, Saudi Arabia has been among the coalition of nations of Operation Inherent Resolve conducting airstrikes against Daesh in Syria.
