The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, sent an official cable extending condolences to President Donald Trump, president of the United States of America, for the truck-ramming attack in New York City, which resulted in fatalities and injuries.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia welcomes and supports the resolute strategy announced by President Donald Trump, President of the United States of America with regards to addressing Iran and its malign behavior. The Kingdom commends the President's clear-eyed vision, and his commitment to working with the United States' allies in the region to confront common threats, especially those posed by Iran's aggressive policies and behavior in the region.

(WASHINGTON, DC) - The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia welcomes the formal notification for the proposed acquisition of Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) equipment, support and services. This $15 billion sale is intended for the enhancement of the Kingdom’s national security from ballistic missile threats posed by Iran and the Iranian-backed Houthi militia operating in Yemen.

(Washington, DC) – The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced today that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued a Decree authorizing the issuance of drivers’ licenses for women in the Kingdom.

September 22, 2017

(Washington, DC) – Three rockets fell yesterday on an elementary school and houses in Al Jabania, located in Alaridah Province in the Jizan Region of Saudi Arabia.

An official source within the Saudi-led coalition forces supporting the ‎legitimate government of Yemen stated that at 10:20 AM, three Katyusha rockets fell on Al Jabania village. The attack resulted in major structural damage to school facilities. Thankfully, there were no casualties from the rocket strikes.

(Grand Prairie, TX) – On his Thursday visit to Lockheed Martin’s Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) site in Grand Prairie, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United States, met with MFC executives to discuss priorities between the Kingdom and Lockheed Martin.

(Washington, DC) – Highlighting the close bilateral defense and security partnership, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United States today greeted Royal Saudi Air Force pilots participating in the U.S.-hosted “Red Flag” training exercise at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada.

The Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Prince Mohammed bin Salman met at his office at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah this evening with the Commander of the US Central Command General Joseph Fotel.  During the meeting, they reviewed areas of bilateral cooperation, particularly in the military aspect, as well as the joint efforts in fighting terrorism and combating extremism, in addition to the latest developments in the region.
