The Official Spokesman of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen, Colonel Turki Al-Malki, issued the following statement:
The Joint Forces Command of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen condemns the heinous crime committed by the terrorist Houthi militia through targeting innocent civilians in Al Thabit market. We are providing humanitarian assistance to the injured in the Kingdom.
The Iran-backed Houthis conducted an attack on a civilian marketplace yesterday morning. They continue to show a pattern of disregard for international law and human rights.
“The Iran backed Houthis committed a massacre in the market of Al-Thabet in Saada today” said Colonel Turki Al Maliki, spokesman for the coalition to restore legitimacy in Yemen. Al Maliki said the Houthis targeted the Al Thabit tribe because of their support of the internationally recognized Yemeni government.
Saudi Ambassador to Yemen Mohammed Al Jaber condemned an attack by Iran backed Houthi terrorists on a local marketplace in Al Thabet, northern Yemen.
Al Jaber said that "In a manner similar to that of ISIS, Hezbollah and Iran in Syria, Iran backed Houthi terrorists targeted a popular market in Al Thabit today with Katyusha rockets, in an attempt to crush any rebellion against their corrupt rule."
The Coalition to restore legitimacy in Yemen has successfully intercepted and downed an armed drone in Yemeni airspace, Spokesman Col. Turki Al Maliki has announced. The drone was launched by the Iran backed Houthi terrorists from Sana'a province, in an attempt to target civilians in the Kingdom.
His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud was appointed Vice Minister of Defense in February 2019 by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Yesterday, Her Royal Highness Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud met with U.S. President Donald J. Trump at the White House to present her credentials as the new Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United States.
During the ceremony, Princess Reema conveyed the greetings and best wishes of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, to President Trump and the American people.
Her Royal Highness Princess Reema bint Bandar Al Saud has arrived in Washington, DC to begin her assignment as the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United States.
“Princess Reema will immediately begin her mission to strengthen the historic partnership between Saudi Arabia and the United States,” said Fahad Nazer, embassy spokesperson. “The Ambassador will bring a fresh perspective on a rapidly changing Saudi Arabia to Washington, continuing to build on key areas of cooperation between our two countries.”
