During a session titled Building Saudi Arabia’s Future Economy, the Kingdom’s Minister of Economy and Planning, Mohammad Al-Tuwaijri, Minister of Finance Mohammed Al-Jadaan, Minister of Commerce and Investment Majid Al-Qasabi, and Princess Reema bint Bandar, President of the Saudi Federation for Community Sports took to the stage to discuss the implementation of Vision 2030 and the vast changes happening within Saudi Arabia- not just economically but socially as well.
On Wednesday, January 24, the Yemen Comprehensive Humanitarian Operations (YCHO) Support Center announced at a press conference the establishment of a $5 million grant to rebuild a central, north-south road from the Port of Aden into the interior of Yemen, linking major Yemeni cities and connecting Aden and Sana'a. The bilateral cooperation agreement was jointly announced by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to Yemen, Ambassador Mohammed Al-Jabir and the Yemeni Minister of Public Works, Dr. Abdelmalek Saeed, who were the signatories to the agreement.
Today, the Saudi-led Coalition announced the Yemen Comprehensive Humanitarian Operation (YCHO). This extensive operations' plan aims to address the humanitarian situation in Yemen both in the immediate and long-term by providing aid, relief, and support to the Yemeni people through various means including by air, land, and sea, as well as, food, medicine, food, and other commercial goods. The YCHO also includes a massive boost to the economy and aid organizations on the ground. The operations are comprehensive and will facilitate aid distribution across all of Yemen.
The Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen announced today the launch of the new Yemen Comprehensive Humanitarian Operations (YCHO), an expanded relief program that commits billions of dollars in aid and support for the humanitarian response to the conflict in Yemen. The YCHO’s objectives are to improve the Yemeni humanitarian situation by addressing immediate aid shortfalls while simultaneously building capacity for long-term improvement of humanitarian aid and commercial goods imports to Yemen. The plan is specifically designed to address the needs of Yemenis in all regions.
Mobile Cranes Arrive in Hodeidah Port
The Arab Coalition Forces for Supporting the Legitimacy in Yemen Spokesman, Col. Turki Al-Malki, stated that at 7:56 A.M., the Air Defense Forces of the Arab coalition spotted the launch of a ballistic missile from Yemeni territory towards the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Col. Al-Maliki noted that the missile was deliberately launched toward Najran, targeting the civilian population and surrounding areas, but it was intercepted and destroyed by the Patriot Brigades over Najran.
