(WASHINGTON, DC) – Saudi Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir said that Iran was the “biggest state sponsor of terrorism in the world.” He made the remarks today in an address before the Munich Security Conference. Minister Al-Jubeir cited several covert, political and military actions carried out by Iran to buttress his argument.
He also outlined the Kingdom’s view of the Arab-Israeli conflict and the crises in Syria and Yemen and said Saudi Arabia was optimistic about working with the U.S. administration to resolve many of the crises in the region today.

On the sidelines of the foreign ministers meeting of the 20-Group summit held in Bonn, Germany, Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir held two separate bilateral meetings with the British Foreign Minister Boris Johnson and Singaporean Foreign Minister Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan, During the two meetings, they discussed issues listed on the agenda of the meeting, as well as regional and international issues of common interests.
The Coalition Supporting Legitimacy in Yemen announced today that it will investigate Houthi claims that civilians were killed during an air raid on a target near the Yemeni capital Sana’a. In a statement issued in Riyadh, the Coalition said “We are aware of media reports that Houthi militias are claiming that Yemeni civilians were killed in an air raid overnight near Sana'a. There has been fighting between Yemeni armed forces and rebels in this area in recent days. We are investigating the reports and will release further information when we have it.”

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSRELIEF) has recently distributed 20,000 food baskets in Hodeidah Province to meet the needs of 120,000 Yemeni civilians. The food baskets are being distributed through local partners.
On January 9, KSRELIEF began the distribution of 300,000 food baskets in Hodeida Province to benefit 460,000 needy people.
