Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir today strongly denounced yesterday’s terrorist attack carried out by Jewish settlers in the village of Douma in the West Bank, burning to death a toddler and severely burning his parents and 4 year old brother.
Foreign Minister Al-Jubeir called on the international community to fulfill its responsibilities and take the necessary measures to protect the Palestinian population from the aggressive practices of Jewish settlers.
The fourth Saudi relief plane arrived in Aden International Airport carrying 10 tons of medical supplies for patients with kidney failure. The medical supplies were accompanied by a team from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center and Doctors Without Borders.

Ambassador Abdallah Yahya A. Al-Mouallimi, Permanent Representative of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations and UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon yesterday unveiled the reinstallation of the Kiswa of Holy Kaaba at UN Headquarters in New York. The Kiswa was a gift to the UN by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in 1983. The Kiswa was re-installed following the renovation of the Headquarters complex.
Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir met today with European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs Federica Mogherini. The meeting discussed bilateral relations as well as regional and international issues of common interest.

The Saudi relief ship ‘Path of the Goodness’ arrived in the Yemeni port of Aden carrying 3,540 tons (7.8 million lbs.) of food and medical supplies. The Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH) began renovating Abu Gabal archaeological mosque located in the historical area in Amlaj Province. (WASHINGTON, DC) – An official Saudi source said today that the Kingdom has always been in favor of an agreement between Iran and the P 5+1 Group that would prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz today launched five projects as part of the Third Saudi Expansion for the Grand Mosque in Makkah. The projects include expansion of buildings, squares, tunnels, service buildings and a ring road. The expansion include 1,470,000 square meters (15.8 million sq. ft.) and will accommodates 1.85 million worshipers.
The main building of the expansion project consists of six floors for praying, 680 escalators and 24 elevators for the people with special needs and 21,000 toilets and places of ablution.
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz today performed the funeral prayers for Prince Saud Al-Faisal at the Grand Mosque in Makkah. Following the funeral prayer, King Salman and the brothers and sons of Prince Saud received condolences. Prince Saud was buried at Al-Adel Cemetery in Makkah.
