(WASHINGTON, DC) – The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, sent cables of condolences to Pakistani President Memnon Hussein for the victims of Tuesday’s terrorist attack against a school in Peshawar.
“As we strongly condemn these criminal acts, we express to your Excellency, the families of the victims, and the brotherly people of Pakistan our condolences,” said King Abdullah.

(Washington, DC) – The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz donated $35 million to help fight Ebola in West Africa.
This was announced by President of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Dr. Ahmad Mohamed Ali. The donation will be implemented by the IDB.
Dr. Ali said that the donation includes providing thermal sensors and medical examination equipment to schools, airports, railway stations and bus stations to diagnose the disease, ensuring early treatment, thereby preventing further transmission of the disease.

(WASHINGTON, DC) - The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz contributed $104 million to the World Food Program (WFP) to help meet an urgent need for funding to continue food distribution to millions of refugees sheltering in countries neighboring Syria, in Ethiopia and in Kenya.
“The contribution to the World Food Program reflects King Abdullah's desire to help those in need, regardless of religion, sect or ethnicity,” said Saudi Ambassador to the United States Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir.
(WASHINGTON, DC) – The Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia continues to correct the issue regarding the nationality of Adnan G. El Shukrijumah, who was reportedly killed this weekend by the Pakistani Army. Mr. El Shukrijumah was wanted by U.S. authorities on terrorism charges.
In March 2003, the Ministry of Interior announced that Mr. El Shukrijumah was not, and never has been, a Saudi citizen, as has been incorrectly reported.
(WASHINGTON, DC) – The Ministry of Interior announced today that 135 terrorism suspects have been arrested nationwide, including 26 foreign nationals.
The 26 foreign nationals arrested included 16 Syrians, three Yemenis, an Egyptian, an Afghani, an Ethiopian, a Bahraini, an Iraqi, a Lebanese citizen and a person whose nationality has not been established.
(WASHINGTON, DC) – Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal addressed partner countries in the coalition against Daash (ISIS) during an international conference held in Brussels, Belgium today. Prince Saud stated that the Kingdom has been and still is at the forefront of fighting terrorism.
During his remarks, Prince Saud stated, “We meet today to declare to the world our determination to move forward in the fight against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and whatever sources.”
