(CAIRO) - While attending an extraordinary Arab League Foreign Ministers meeting, Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal today again urged the international community to do all that it can to prevent aggression against the Syrian people which has led to the death of more than 100,000.
“We cannot bear seeing Syrian people being shelled with poisonous gases this way,” said Prince Saud. “We urge the international community to stop aggression by the Syrian regime against its people.”

(WASHINGTON, DC) - Saudi Arabia today passed a law against domestic violence against women, children and domestic workers The law was passed during a meeting by the Council of Ministers, chaired by Second Deputy Prime Minister Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz.
The new law criminalized domestic violence and other forms of physical or sexual abuse, both at home and in the workplace. The new law also provides shelter and treatment for victims of abuse.

(WASHINGTON, DC) - Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz announced that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia donated $100 million to the UN Counter-Terrorism Centre (UNCCT). The announcement was made tonight in Makkah during King Abdullah’s annual Eid Al-Fitr address following the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
