I would like to welcome His Excellency Mr. John Kerry, the U.S. Secretary of State, and his accompanying delegation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This, his third visit to the region, only asserts his personal concern with the region’s issues and the interests of the United States and those of its friends.

(WASHINGTON, DC) - Today, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal met with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry in Jeddah to discuss developments in Syria, along with a range of regional and international issues. The briefing was attended by Saudi Ambassador to the United States Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir and U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia James B. Smith and other relevant Saudi officials.

President of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett opened the Saudi Archaeological Masterpieces through the Ages Exhibition in Pittsburgh this evening. The event was attended by Saudi Ambassador to the United States Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir. The Carnegie Museums are hosting the exhibit, which is on the second leg of its U.S. tour. Over 227 relics highlighting the history of the Arabian Peninsula are on display.
