(WASHINGTON, DC) - The inauguration ceremony of the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Center for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue (KAICIID) was held yesterday in Vienna, Austria. The ceremonial opening was attended by Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal, U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, Austrian Vice-Chancellor and Federal Minister of European and International Affairs Dr. Michael Spindelegger, Spanish Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Dr. José Manuel Garcia-Margallo and members of the board of directors, among others.
The King Abdullah International Center for Interfaith and Intercultural Dialogue (KAICIID) was opened this evening in Vienna. (WASHINGTON, DC) – His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA), and Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution G. Wayne Cough, last week inaugurated the opening of the exhibition, “Roads of Arabia: Archaeology and History of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.” The exhibition opened at the Smithsonian Institution’s Arthur M. Sackler Gallery in Washington, D.C. on Nov. 17.
President of the General Commission for Tourism and Antiquities Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz opened the “Saudi Archeological Masterpieces through the Ages” Exhibition at the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, D.C. yesterday evening. The exhibit, organized by the Saudi Tourism and Antiquities Authority in collaboration with the Sackler and Freer Galleries, includes 320 masterpieces illustrating the history of the Arabian Peninsula from the Stone Age to the present.

Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Khalid bin Saud bin Khalid visited the Saudi Embassy in Washington, D.C. today, during which he met with Saudi Ambassador to the United States Adel A. Al-Jubeir and other staff members. He also took a tour of the Embassy’s different departments and was briefed on the activities of each one.

In his speech, Prince Saud stressed the importance of a serious international commitment to putting an immediate end to the escalating humanitarian tragedy in Syria.
