The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and other leaders and heads of delegations of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states concluded the meetings of 32nd session of the GCC Supreme Council at Dir’iya Palace in Riyadh yesterday. Afterwards, GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani read a final statement, referred to as the Riyadh Declaration.
Governor of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) Dr. Mohammed Al-Jasser delivered the 47th annual SAMA report on economic conditions in the Kingdom to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz during a meeting in Riyadh today. The report covers fiscal year 1431/1432 H. (2010), as well as the first quarter of the current year.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz chaired the weekly Cabinet meeting at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh today. The session began with a number of reports on regional and international events, which were reviewed by the ministers. The Cabinet discussed Arab efforts to resolve the crisis in Syria, commending the continuing efforts of the Arab League (AL) and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to end the bloodshed.
(WASHINGTON, DC) - The number of Saudi students studying in the United States has reached nearly 50,000, announced the Saudi Cultural Attaché Assistant for Administrative and Financial Affairs in Washington, D.C., Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Subayil.
“Studying in the U.S. and other countries throughout the world is a great opportunity for Saudi students,” said Saudi Ambassador to the United States Adel A. Al-Jubeir. “Dialogue fostered through the King Abdullah Scholarship Program will help promote peace and cultural understanding for generations to come.”
