Saudi Arabia has delivered its first shipment of medical supplies as part of an emergency airlift for Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has ordered the delivery of medical aid to victims of the Israeli attacks in Gaza, as well as the transportation of the wounded to the Kingdom for treatment.

Air Force Major General Hamad Al-Hassoun, Head of the Air Medical Evacuation Department, said that the first evacuation aircrafts landed Sunday night in Al-Arish, Egypt to receive the injured Palestinians. "The airlift will constantly be transferring all urgent cases in cooperation with the Ministry of Health," he said.
