Minister of Health inspects new Riyadh medical facilities

Minister of Health Dr. Abdullah Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah inspected a number of health projects in Riyadh yesterday, including the 300-bed North Riyadh Hospital and the National Health Laboratory, which are being constructed at a combined cost of SR 300 million [U.S. $79.98 million]. Thus far, the National Health Laboratory is 85% completed, while 12% of the work has been finished on the North Riyadh Hospital. In a press statement following the tour, Dr. Al-Rabeeah announced that the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will serve as a consultant for the National Health Laboratory, which is expected to become a world-class research facility.
